As we are preparing for our next event in August, you can watch this video of Speedbuggy performing at the last event hosted here at Rising Sun & Co. If you weren’t at our pre-father’s day party, here is a little taste of what it was like.
Do you know Timbo, the working brother on the left? Perhaps you have seen him performing at a cool local venue with his band Speedbuggy. He may look stylish decked out in Rising Sun clothing but he knows he does not need to baby our crafted garments. We are inspired by his hard-living lifestyle and will be featuring him on our blog from time to time.
Check out “Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda” below, the cow punk video Speedbuggy recently shot. Timbo is the front man.
It is Thanksgiving time and the Rising Sun & Co. team would like to thank all of our supporters for their patronage and encouragement. Thank you for appreciating all the sewing details we so so paintstakingly insist on in our humble haberdashery. Thank you for supporting Made in USA. Thank you for coming to our parties. It has been quite a journey and you have made it worthwhile. Happy Thanksgiving!
Now enjoy this short YouTube clip we found of a Wrangler commercial that aired during the 1986 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. It’s good ol’ Willie Nelson. One day we will ask that man to do a Rising Sun commercial.
Party scene at the launch of Put This On

The “Put This On” launch party in our haberdashery provided another fun night full of good people, conversations, and style. Not to mention drinks and music. We hope you will join us for our next event. Be sure to subscribe to our blog to get updates on what we have in store.

If you have been following our humble blog then you know that Rising Sun is featured in the pilot of “Put This On,” a fun and lighthearted web video series about dressing like a grownup. This first episode is now available online. Here are the links to the video at putthison.com or YouTube or Vimeo, where it is now on the front page as a staff pick and even viewable in HD.
Jesse Thorn and Adam Lisagor did a fantastic job so be sure to also check out their future shows.
It is video night here at Rising Sun. Peter Torres of Kick the Can Studio sent us the nifty vid he made of our Blues event two weeks ago starring Paxton and Fairfield, vintage hot rods, guys and dolls in blue jeans and beautiful blues. Check it out.
