The Japanese magazine 2nd has featured Rising Sun. Our kanji is not very good but it seems to be mostly praise and spotlights the Blacksmith jeans, Cattleman jacket, vintage sack pocketing, and our special gift boxes. 2nd is published by the same folks who do Lightning magazine.

Rising Sun & Co. is featured in the latest issue of Rose Magazine. They call our haberdashery a ‘tintype time warp” and Mike Hodis the “doyen of denim.” We are absolutely flattered. The Rose Magazine is the features and lifestyle magazine of Pasadena Star-News, a local Pasadena paper.
