If you are going to the Rose Bowl Flea Market next month be sure to look up Matsu, a master leather craftsman. He is a highly skilled leather carving artist. Our good friend shows off his wallets, studed belts, and bags at the Rose Bowl so be sure to check it out.
The “Put This On” launch party in our haberdashery provided another fun night full of good people, conversations, and style. Not to mention drinks and music. We hope you will join us for our next event. Be sure to subscribe to our blog to get updates on what we have in store.
Mike worked up this design proto of the Rising Sun x Put This On T-thirt. Only 34 pieces will be made to be sold for the celebratory price of $34. 34 is a famously lucky and special number for us. Among other things Mike’s favorite Indian motorcycle and roadster are from 1934.
The tee can be purchased this Friday October 30 if you get to store for the “Put This On” launch party early enough. No amount of touching your computer screen would ever convince you of how increadibly soft this gorgeous, subtle slub fabric is so you will just have to come fondle it for yourself.

We are planning another amazing party at our haberdashery for the end of this month. While we are still working out the details we thought it would be fun to post some more pictures of party people enjoying our most recent event “Bourbon, Blues and Blue Jeans.”

Frank Fairfield and Blind Boy Paxton playing at Rising Sun & Co.
It is video night here at Rising Sun. Peter Torres of Kick the Can Studio sent us the nifty vid he made of our Blues event two weeks ago starring Paxton and Fairfield, vintage hot rods, guys and dolls in blue jeans and beautiful blues. Check it out.
Friday was a glorious night of live music, denim discussions, b Now that the party libation has cleared our systems we can give a proper recount of our blues bash last Friday.
We want to thank our supporters, and Paxton and Fairfield whose music have powers to transport us through time the way our creations aspire to do.
