We have known Rin Tanaka for some years now. His My Freedamn! books explore fashion from categories like motorcycle, Rockabilly, Hawaiian culture, Hippie, and even Grateful Dead tees. Through photography he documents how Americans do Americana.
My Freedamn! 8 is another fantastic volume that colorfully depicts 1960s Pop Fashion with clothing from surf, motorcycle, car, and other cultures. We were grateful that he featured some pieces from the Rising Sun & Co. Archive in the new book.
